🏈 CBS Sports and 24/7 Sports podcast host Josh Pate joins Brian Tripp to discuss his visit to Happy Valley earlier this spring to take an inside look at the Penn State football program. Josh Pate hosted a special edition of his popular show "The Late Kick Podcast" live from the Lasch Building and had an opportunity to meet with coaches and student-athletes within the program. He shares insight from his visit and his outlook on the 2023 Penn State football season.

🥎 Penn State softball head coach Clarisa Crowell joins host Brian Tripp to recap the program's outstanding 31-16 season. She discusses the remarkable team and individual achievements from 2023 and spotlights the strong camaraderie among the female head coaches at Penn State.

A Nittany Lion ability athlete since 2019, RJ Shirey is a State College native who lost his right leg after a tragic hunting accident at age 15. He posted season and career bests in both the shot put and javelin to win two more national crowns, and his shot put distance of 7.13 meters brought home gold as did his javelin throw of 20.19 meters. He’s wrapping up his Ability Athletics career this summer as he will graduate in August.

🔺 Two Good. Penn State women's basketball redshirt junior guard Leilani Kapinus earned a spot on the 2023 USA 3x3 Nations League team. One of the most tenacious two-way players in women's college basketball, she makes her international basketball debut with Team USA at the FIBA 3x3 U23 Nations League Americas Conference in Rancagua, Chile. And she’s fresh off a 2022-2023 season that saw her land All-Big Ten Defensive Team recognition according to both the league's coaches and media members, while winning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention accolades.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: Fordham!

It was the first of a home-and-away series for Penn State and Fordham, with the Nittany Lions going to the Bronx the next season to face the Rams.

Penn State won that game 75-0.
