🔺 Conference All-Stars. Seven Penn State track & field student-athletes earned All-Big Ten honors. Florence Caron and Hayley Kitching landed on the All-Big Ten First Team. Caron was named the Big Ten Women’s Track Athlete of the Championships. Sophia Toti, Makenna Krebs, Samaria McDonald, Cheickna Traore, and Maddie Pitts earned All-Big Ten Second Team honors.
🔺 One More Time. Penn State baseball is on the road at Maryland for one final regular season series this weekend. The series begins today at 6 p.m. Grant Norris leads the league with 10 home runs in conference play, Adam Cecere and Bryce Molinaro are tied for third with seven. All of the games will be broadcast on B1G+.
🔺 Let’s Work. The women’s basketball team has signed Vitoria Santana, a guard from Santo Andre, Brazil. She was a two-year starter at Eastern Arizona in the NJCAA. She averaged 15.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game last season. She also totaled 10 double-doubles and one triple double. Vitoria was named ACCAC Defensive Player of the Year, All-ACCAC DI first team, and All-Region DI first team.
