📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Let’s Dance. It’s NCAA Tournament time for Penn State softball! They’ll begin their first national postseason run in 13 years tonight as they face Texas State at the Bryan-College Station Regional. Texas State earned an automatic bid after winning the Sun Belt Conference. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. on ESPNU. The winner will play the winner of UAlbany and No. 16 Texas A&M on Saturday at 2 p.m. The loser will player the loser of UAlbany and Texas A&M on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

🔺 Strong Start. Penn State baseball started their weekend strong with an 8-4 win at Maryland. They launched three home runs in the win thanks to Kevin Michaels, Adam Cecere, and Matt Maloney. Mason Horwat earned the save after throwing four shutout innings. The series will continue with a doubleheader today beginning at 1 p.m.

🔺 Taking 30. Penn State has 29 individual entries and one relay team that have qualified and declared for the 2024 NCAA Track & Field Championships. They’ll start things off at the East Region Preliminaries at Kentucky next Wednesday, May 22. The women’s team has 15 individual entries that will participate in eight events throughout the week. The men’s team has 14 individual entries and one relay team.

🔺 Terrific Teammates. The Big Ten recognizes a student-athlete from each team as Sportsmanship Award Honorees. These student-athletes have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The conference nominated Duane Knisely and Makenna Krebs as Penn State’s honorees!
