Penn State won the first game 6-5 after 10 innings of baseball. They turned around and dominated in the second game, winning 19-7. They finish the regular season with a 26-23 overall record and 12-12 in conference play. The Nittany Lions will play Illinois at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Nittany Lions turned around to beat UAlbany on Saturday, 9-3. It was the first NCAA Tournament win in 13 years. Pitcher Bridget Nemeth set a single-season win record with 23 in the circle. They fell to Texas State again to conclude the season. Their 35-20 overall record tied for the third-most wins in a single season.
