๐Ÿ Lions vs. Cardinals
๐Ÿˆ Award hoarder
๐Ÿฆ And much, much more!

๐Ÿ“ˆ STOCK UP

๐Ÿ”บ Decked The Cards. No. 7 Penn State womenโ€™s volleyball flexed its muscle on Tuesday in a dominant sweep of No. 4 Louisville!

The win moves the Nittany Lions to 3-0 on the season and gives them two ranked wins, including the season-opening win over Tennessee. The loss is the first of the season for the Cardinals, who had wins over No. 3 Wisconsin and No. 15 Tennessee already.

๐Ÿ”บ One Of One. One week in, one award for Izzy Starck!

The Penn State setter picked up the first Big Ten Womenโ€™s Volleyball Freshman of the Week award of the season this week after leading the Nittany Lions to a pair of wins over No. 15 Tennessee and Temple.

๐Ÿ”บ Tackle Machine. Twelve tackles and a forced fumble โ€” not a bad 2024 debut for Penn State safety Kevin Winston Jr., who is this weekโ€™s Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week AND Chuck Bednarik Player of the Week!

๐Ÿ”บ Brick Wall. You wouldnโ€™t have known Aby Deverka was a freshman in goal last week against a pair of top-10 teams in No. 3 Virginia and No. 10 Syracuse, because she didnโ€™t play like one โ€” Deverka has been named Big Ten Field Hockey Freshman of the Week!

Every Wednesday, we will come to you with a tip from Penn State Health, the Official Healthcare Provider of Penn State Athletics.

Proper sleep is essential for physical and mental well-being.

It's suggested that most students get 10 hours. Younger kids should get between 10 and 13 hours of sleep daily and teens can function well with eight to 10. But 10 should be the goal.

๐Ÿฆ ONE BIG THING

๐Ÿ”บ Net-Finder. No one was better in college soccer last week than Penn Stateโ€™s Kaitlyn MacBean, who is the TopDrawerSoccer National Player of the Week!

MacBean has eight goals in five matches this season, including six in her last three contests.
