🔺 Hot Start. No. 7 Penn State women’s volleyball got its season started with some momentum over the weekend, taking down No. 15 Tennessee in four sets on Friday before sweeping Temple on Sunday to start 2-0.

The Nittany Lions are back in action today, hosting Louisville for their home opener at 7:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

🔺 Long Weekend Split. Penn State men’s soccer split a pair of matches over the long weekend, falling 2-1 to No. 3 Pitt on Friday before bouncing back for a 4-0 win over St. Bonaventure on Monday evening.

The Nittany Lions’ four goals on Monday were scored by four different players — Ben Liscum opened the scoring, followed by Michael Hewes, Matthew Henderson and Christian Dionne.
