🔺 Still Unbeaten. Two first half goals were all Penn State women’s soccer needed in a 2-1 win over Rutgers on Thursday night to move to 8-0-1 on the season.

Payton Linnehan scored the first goal of the contest in the 34th minute, and Amelia White followed shortly after in the 40th minute with what proved to be a winning goal.

🔺 Headed South. After grabbing a pair of conference wins in the past week, Penn State goes outside of the Big Ten this weekend with a trip to take on UNC Greensboro tomorrow evening.

UNCG is 1-4-3 this season, including a 2-0 loss to Maryland, who Penn State took down 1-0 on Tuesday.

🔺 Win In The Windy City. Penn State volleyball is in the Chicago suburbs this weekend for its Big Ten road opener at Northwestern.

It’s a lopsided history between the Nittany Lions and Wildcats — Penn State leads the all-time series 41-3 and will look to push their current win streak against Northwestern to 10 matches.

🔺 Puck Drop. No. 11 Penn State women’s hockey officially kicks off its season this weekend at No. 5 Northeastern!

The Nittany Lions will play a pair of games against the Huskies — one Saturday at 3 p.m. and the other Sunday at 2 p.m.

🔺 Schedule Set. The Big Ten announced the conference portion of Penn State women’s basketball’s schedule on Thursday, which means the 2023-24 schedule is officially set!

The Big Ten slate is highlighted by home games against Michigan State, Northwestern, Purdue, Nebraska, Maryland, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio State and Minnesota.
