🔺 Talkin’ Hawks. Penn State head football coach James Franklin was at the podium on Tuesday previewing his team’s Saturday night matchup with the Iowa Hawkeyes!

🔺 World Champs. Penn State wrestlers winning championships, go figure.

Former Nittany Lions Zain Retherford and David Taylor both recently won world titles at the United World Wrestling 2023 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia!

🔺 Seven Straight. Penn State men’s soccer (4-1-2) took down Maryland 1-0 on Tuesday, winning the Mack Brady Match for the seventh consecutive year and earning head coach Jeff Cook his 50th win at Penn State in the process.

Peter Mangione scored for the Nittany Lions in the 38th minute, and it proved to be all Penn State needed.

🔺 Another Round. For the second consecutive tournament, Penn State men’s golfer Patrick Sheehan found himself in the top-15 at the Chicago Highlands Invitational when play finished on Tuesday.

Sheehan shot 5-under and placed 12th individually. He paced the Nittany Lions, who finished 10th as a team at 9-over.

🔺 Big Ten Time. Penn State volleyball opens up Big Ten play this evening against Rutgers at Rec Hall!

The Nittany Lions are on a two-game winning streak, having swept the Penn State Classic last weekend against UMBC and Seton Hall. Rutgers is 8-2 on the season.

🔺 Almost That Time. The Big Ten Conference has released the men’s basketball conference schedule for the 2023-24 season, and with that, Penn State’s schedule is set!

Mike Rhoades’ squad will host 10 Big Ten games, including a Sunday, Jan. 7 game against Michigan inside the historic Palestra.
