🔺 Kent State Week. Penn State football is back on the field this Saturday against Kent State, and head coach James Franklin was on the mic yesterday to talk all about it!
🔺 Two Rounds Down. Penn State men’s golf sits in seventh place through one day at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational, shooting rounds of 2-over and 1-over to sit at 3-over heading into the final round on Tuesday.
Morgan Lofland led the way for the Nittany Lions on Monday, putting together rounds of 68 and 71 to sit at 5-under and in eighth place.
🔺 Home Sweet Home. Penn State men’s soccer is back at Jeffrey Field today, hosting No. 12 Ohio State for its Big Ten home opener at 6 p.m.
The Buckeyes are 5-0-1 on the season and have been on a roll of late, winning five straight matches heading into today’s matchup against the Nittany Lions, which will serve as their Big Ten opener.
🔺 Fantastic First-Year. For the second time this season, Penn State field hockey goalkeeper Aby Deverka has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week!
Deverka made her fifth start in six games over the weekend, collecting seven saves against No. 15 Princeton. She now leads the Big Ten with 33 saves.
