🔺 Still Perfect. The Penn State Invitational champs reside in Happy Valley, as No. 3 Penn State women’s volleyball swept Duke, Princeton and St. John’s over the weekend to remain unbeaten at 8-0 on the season.

The Nittany Lions didn’t lose a single set in their three matches, collecting their fourth, fifth and sixth sweeps this year.

🔺 Atop The Podium. Penn State women’s cross country had a winning weekend, taking home first place at the Spiked Shoe Invitational on Friday morning.

Florence Caron, Sophia Toti and Maddie Ullom all finished inside the top-10 for the Nittany Lions to help earn the victory.

The Penn State men finished fifth at the meet, with Jake Allen leading the way in 25th place.

🔺 Senior Day Celebration. No. 12 Penn State women’s soccer celebrated its senior class in style, closing out the non-conference slate with a 2-1 win over Columbia at Jeffrey Field.

The Nittany Lions scored the first two goals of the match courtesy of Jordan Fusco and Mieke Schiemann, and held on the rest of the way to move their record to 7-1-1 as they head into Big Ten play.

🔺 Got A Pair. Penn State field hockey picked up its second and third wins over the weekend to get its season record back to .500 at 3-3.

The Nittany Lions dominated in a 4-1 win over Kent State on Friday, before pulling out a close 3-2 win over No. 15 Princeton on Sunday afternoon. Sophia Gladieux scored four goals in the two games, with Sophia Mannino right behind her with three.

🔺 Home Swingin’. Penn State women’s golf finished play at the Nittany Lion Invitational on Sunday, carding the low-round of the day to place fourth among the 14-team field.

The Nittany Lions, who shot 31-over overall, finished behind Princeton (5-under), Harvard (25-over) and Jacksonville State (28-over).

Drew Nienhaus shot even-par to pace the Nittany Lions, finishing third individually.

🔺 Ranked Host. Penn State men’s soccer went on the road to open up Big Ten play over the weekend, traveling to No. 22 Michigan and falling to the Wolverines, 2-1.

The Nittany Lions fell behind in the first half but found an equalizer in the 52nd minute off the foot of Aboubacar Camara. The Wolverines scored the deciding goal three minutes later off a PK.

🔺 Kicked Off. Penn State women’s tennis’ fall schedule is officially underway, as the Nittany Lion competed at the UNC Kitty Harrison Invitational over the weekend.

Olivia Dorner and Maiko Uchijima, ranked No. 49 in. theITA preseason doubles rankings, went undefeated on the weekend with three wins to highlight the slate.
