🔺 Dominant From The Start. Penn State football scored touchdowns on seven of its first eight drives, as the Nittany Lions topped Delaware, 63-7, on Saturday. Here’s everything you need to know:

🔺 Split The Trip. No. 12 Penn State women’s volleyball moved its win streak to four matches with a sweep at Temple on Friday.

Zoe Weatherington led the way for the Nittany Lions, as she hit .500 with 11 kills. Allie Holland had eight kills, five blocks and four aces.

The win streak ended on Sunday, with Penn State traveling south to take on No. 2 Louisville. The Cardinals took the match in three sets and are now 8-0. Penn State now stands at 4-3 overall.

🔺 Building Momentum. Brie Barraco and Lauren Delgado kept the net clean all night in Penn State field hockey’s 5-0 win over Kent State in the Nittany Lions’ home opener.

Mackenzie Allessie scored twice on six shots for Penn State, while Sophia Gladieux, Carly Gannon and Sophia Mannino all scored once in the 5-0 win.

The Nittany Lions were just as impressive in Sunday’s 4-1 win over No. 19 Delaware. Gladieux scored three times for Penn State in the contest.

🔺 Women Win. The Spiked Shoe Invitational was a success for the Penn State women’s cross country team over the weekend, as the Nittany Lions took first place in the 6K race with just 24 points.

Faith DeMars picked up her second consecutive win in 20:50.3, with Florence Caron (20:59.0), Maddie Ullom (21:11.3) and Sophia Toti (21:12.1) right behind her in the 3-4-5 positions.

The Penn State men finished third in its 5.2-mile race. Evan Dorenkamp was PSU’s top finisher in seventh place with a time of 25:43.5.

🔺 First Loss. A 0-0 draw at halftime between Penn State and Penn men’s soccer turned sideways in the second half, as the Quakers scored three times to take a 3-0 win.

The loss was Penn State’s first on the year, moving the Nittany Lions to 2-1-2. Next up on the schedule is a road match at Ohio State on Friday.
