🔺 Rivalry Renewed. We made it. Penn State football is back. The Nittany Lions host West Virginia tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. under the lights in Beaver Stadium!
🗒 GAME NOTES: No. 7 Penn State vs. West Virginia
🔺 Headed West. No. 5 Penn State field hockey (1-1) takes its talents to the West Coast this weekend for showdowns against Cal and Stanford!
The Nittany Lions visit Cal (0-3) tonight at 7 p.m. ET in Berkeley, before heading to Palo Alto on Sunday for a matchup versus Stanford (0-2) at 3 p.m. ET.
🔺 Tournament Time. Penn State women’s volleyball will host the Penn State Invitational this weekend at Rec Hall, with Western Kentucky, Colgate and James Madison in town to compete.
The Nittany Lions will play Western Kentucky (3-1) on Friday, Colgate (2-1) on Saturday and James Madison (2-1) to wrap up play on Sunday.
🔺 Late Goal Wins It. It took 88 minutes, but No. 6 Penn State women’s soccer eventually got the goal it needed in a 1-0 win over UCF on Thursday night.
Payton Linnehan assisted Mieke Schiemann on the play, and the Nittany Lions went home happy shortly after.
🔺 Runners, On Your Mark. Penn State cross country’s season is off and running tonight at the Dolan Duals in Lock Haven, Pa.
The meet is the first of the year, and precedes the Spiked Shoe Invitational, which Penn State will host a week from today in Happy Valley.

🔺 No. 1 Comes To Town. Penn State men’s soccer (1-0-1) has the pleasure of hosting No. 1 Syracuse tonight at 6 p.m. in a Wear White game.
The Nittany Lions have hosted Syracuse once before, a 3-0 win back in 2021.
The Orange are 2-0 on the season with wins over Providence and Binghamton.
After its showdown with No. 1 Syracuse, Penn State will be back in action on Monday against St. John’s at 5 p.m.
