While it’s normal for children to have a few first-week butterflies, those who continue to struggle may need extra support from parents, teachers, school counselors or mental health professionals.  Consider how you're feeling about the transition. Kids are sensitive to your emotions and body language, so pay attention to how you're reacting, especially around younger children. Aim to approach school with a calm and positive mindset.
