🔺 Hockey Valley. For the first time, Beaver Stadium will be home to Penn State hockey this January! The Hockey Valley Doubleheader will see the men’s and women’s ice hockey teams play conference foes. The men’s team will take on two-time defending B1G Champion Michigan State, while the women will play in-state foe Robert Morris. The historic doubleheader will take place January 31.

🔺 Senior Celebration. Penn State’s ninth-ranked women’s soccer team celebrated Senior Day on Sunday! They honored Kaitlyn MacBean, Riley Gleason, Julia Raich, Amanda Poorbaugh, Amelia White, Olivia Borgen, and medically retired Ava Minnier before taking on James Madison. They went on to tie the Dukes 1-1 thanks to a Bella Ayscue goal.

🔺 Road Woes. Penn State women’s volleyball dropped two ranked contests at the State Farm Women’s Volleyball Showcase in Pittsburgh. They fell to No. 13 Arizona State 3-1 on Sunday. Yesterday, the comeback attempt fell short as they dropped a five-set match to No. 24 TCU. Next, the Nittany Lions will host No. 4 Kentucky in its home opener on Friday night.

🔺 On To The Next. The men’s soccer team fell to No. 23 Missouri State 3-1 yesterday. Malick Daouda was the lone Nittany Lion on the scoresheet with his first goal of the season. They’ll host Mercyhurst on Friday at 7 p.m.

🔺 Big Leagues Rang. Freshman men’s soccer defender Ben Nash has been called up to the U18 Canadian National Team! He’ll train with the team this week and play in two friendlies in Finland.
