🔺 Classic Cats. No. 13 Penn State women’s volleyball hosts the Penn State Classic this weekend. They’ll play Princeton tonight at 7 p.m. to start the weekend. They’ll close the weekend on Sunday when they host Central Michigan at 2 p.m. Both matches will stream on B1G+.

🔺 A New Season Begins. The 16th-ranked field hockey team begins Big Ten play this weekend! They’ll play at No. 10 Maryland today at 5 p.m. before heading to Lafayette for a noon matchup on Sunday. The Nittany Lions are riding a four-game winning streak.

🔺 Mack Brady Match. The men’s soccer team hosts the 13th annual Mack Brady Match in honor of youth goalkeeper Mack Brady whose dream was to play for Penn State and the U.S. Men’s National Team. The Nittany Lions will host No. 5 Indiana tonight at 7 p.m. on B1G+. Penn State will also host more than 30 alumni this weekend!

🔺 Call It Even. No. 8 Penn State women’s soccer played to a 1-1 draw with Nebraska at Jeffrey Field on Thursday, pushing its record to 5-2-2 this season.

The Nittany Lions remain unbeaten in their last three fixtures and have outscored opponents by an 8-1 differential in that span.

🔺 Nittany Lions In The NFL. Let’s take a look at how Nittany Lions did in week two of the NFL season!

• Tyler Warren was named the NFL Rookie of the Week! He hauled in four receptions for 79 yards in the Colts’ win over Denver. He leads or co-leads all NFL tight ends in receiving yards, yards after the catch, and contested catches.

• Parker Washington led the Jacksonville Jaguars with 76 receiving yards, catching all five of his targets.

• Saquon Barkley recorded 94 total yards and a touchdown.
