This week's featured Nittany Lion In The Pros, brought to you by AmeriGas, is Mitchell Tinsley. Tinsley, who played wide receiver at Penn State in 2022, caught his first pass in the NFL on Sunday for the Cincinnati Bengals, a 13-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

 📈 STOCK UP

🔺 A Lot to A Little! No. 2 Penn State football took care of business on Saturday in its non-conference finale against Villanova, beating the Wildcats 52-6 at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium!

The Nittany Lions posted 465 yards on offense comprised of 237 passing and 228 rushing yards. Senior quarterback Drew Allar recorded 209 yards, completing 16-of-29 passes with one touchdown. Sophomore tight end Luke Reynolds led the team in receiving yards, posting 73 yards on four receptions, averaging 18.3 yards per catch. Redshirt freshman Ethan Grunkemeyer took over for Allar in the fourth quarter, posting 19 yards and one touchdown.

🔺 Two, Please. No. 17 Penn State field hockey picked up a pair of wins over the weekend to push its win streak to four games, beating Bucknell on Friday and Kent State on Sunday.

🔺 Fast Finish. Penn State cross country hosted the Spiked Shoe Invitational on Friday at the Penn State Blue & White Courses, with the women earning a team win and the men finishing second in competitive fields.

Florence Caron won the women’s race with a time of 19:54.7, a full 24 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.

🔺 Off And Running. Penn State women’s tennis began its fall schedule over the weekend in Greenville, S.C., competing at the Southern Fall Classic.

Brianna Baldi led the way, going undefeated in singles play.

🔺 Knight Match. Penn State men’s soccer battled back and forth with Rutgers on Friday in New Jersey, falling late to the Scarlet Knights in the Big Ten opener.
