🔺 Fantastic In Philly! No. 16 Penn State football traveled to Philadelphia over the weekend and beat Temple, 27-9, in front of 61,714 fans at Lincoln Financial Field!
Penn State’s offense compiled 416 yards including 268 through the air and 148 on the ground, marking its second straight contest with 400+ offensive yards. Senior quarterback Rocco Becht was responsible for 279 yards, completing 21-of-27 passes for 268 yards in addition to 11 rushing yards. He also posted three passing touchdowns, marking his second game this season with three-plus touchdown passes.
🔺 Historic Sweep! No. 12 Penn State women’s volleyball made the most of its first match at The Palestra in 41 years, sweeping No. 4 Stanford in a non-conference match Friday night before returning to Rec Hall on Saturday to sweep Ohio to move to 6-1 on the season!

🔺 Running Home! Penn State cross country hosted the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational on Friday morning at the Blue and White Golf Courses, with the women running to a second-place finish and the men finishing in third place.
🔺 B1G Win! Penn State women’s soccer picked up its first Big Ten win of the season on Sunday, downing Minnesota at Jeffrey Field, 1-0!
Junior forward Aubrey Kulpa tallied her third goal of the season and ninth point in seven matches with a score in the first half. Freshman forward Olivia Robinson earned her second assist of the season on the game-winning goal.
🔺 Soccer In Seattle. Penn State men’s soccer fell in its Big Ten opener at Washington on Friday night, 4-2.
Amadou Kone and Sheridan McNish scored goals for the Nittany Lions against the Huskies.
🔺 Fought To The Finish. Penn State field hockey suffered just its second loss of the season on Sunday, falling to No. 4 Princeton at the Penn State Field Hockey Complex, 2-1. Cooper Cutchins scored the first goal of her career for the Nittany Lions in the defeat.
