🔺 B1G Win. No. 8 Penn State women’s soccer had a dominant start to Big Ten play on Thursday, beating Maryland, 4-0, at Jeffrey Field.
Amelia White and Aubrey Kulpa scored the first two goals of the match for the Nittany Lions, and Kaitlyn MacBean added a pair of second-half scores.
🔺 Knight Time. Penn State men’s soccer kicks off Big Ten play today, traveling to New Jersey to play Rutgers at 7 p.m.
The Scarlet Knights are 3-1-1 so far this season, falling 3-1 to Princeton in their most recent match on Sept. 5.
🔺 Double Dose. Penn State field hockey plays a pair of games in Happy Valley this weekend, hosting Bucknell (2-2) today at 6 p.m. and Kent State (1-2) on Sunday at noon.
🔺 Home Track. Penn State cross country will run on familiar ground this weekend, lacing it up for the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational at the Blue & White Courses in Happy Valley.
The women’s race will go off at 10 a.m. with the men to follow at 10:45 a.m.
🔺 First Serve. Penn State women’s tennis begins its fall campaign this weekend, traveling to Greenville, S.C., for the Debbie Southern Fall Classic.
This weekend’s tournament precedes the ITA All-Americans, which run from Sept. 20-28 in Cary, N.C.
