🔺 Going For Gold. The United States Women’s National Team is moving onto the gold medal match at the Paris Olympics thanks to this unreal save from Penn State alum Alyssa Naeher in the semifinal against Germany!

🔺 Out Of The Pool. Five current and former members of Penn State swimming and diving have finished their run at the Paris Olympics — current Nittany Lions Jack Harvey and Eduardo Cisternas and alums Emma Harvey, Gabe Castano and Shane Ryan.

Cisternas broke his own Chilean national record with a time of 3:51.29 in the 400 free to highlight the competition.

🔺 New To The Club. Penn State men’s golf head coach Mark Leon has announced the addition of transfers Andres Barraza and Alex Creamean, who both began their careers at Bucknell, to the team for the 2024-25 season!

🔺 One Of One. Only 24 more days until Penn State football is back on the field!

Today gives us the opportunity to highlight Penn State legend Franco Harris, who scored 24 rushing touchdowns for the Nittany Lions from 1969-1971!

Harris rushed for 2,002 yards for Penn State and averaged over 5.0 yards per carry over his 380 attempts.

🔺 One Under His Belt. Penn State track and field national champion Cheickna Traore has concluded his first trip to the Olympics, running a 20.54 mark in the first round of the 200-meter dash on Monday!

Traore qualified for the Olympics with a 19.93-second sprint at the NCAA East Region Preliminary meet this spring, which was a personal best, school record and Ivory Coast national record.
