🔺 Precious Medal. Team USA men’s gymnastic’s pommel horse specialist did it again over the weekend — Penn State alum Stephen Nedoroscik won an individual bronze medal on Saturday with a score of 15.300!

🔺 Silver Shot. For the third time in the last three Olympic Games, Penn State alum Joe Kovacs has won a silver medal in the men’s shot put!

Kovacs sat in fourth place through five throws, but his sixth toss of 22.15 meters earned him a runner-up finish behind fellow American Ryan Crouser.

With his latest silver medal, Kovacs becomes just the second Nittany Lion track and field alum ever to win three Olympic medals, joining Barney Ewell in that exclusive club.

🔺 Helping Serve. Penn State men’s tennis coach Bruce Lipka has announced the addition of Brian Ward as an assistant coach!

Ward, who also serves as a private coach, was the associate head coach for Missouri women’s tennis last season.
