🔺 Top-10 Team. When Penn State women’s soccer opens its season on August 17, it will do so as a top-10 team in the country!

The Nittany Lions land at No. 10 in the inaugural Preseason United Soccer Coaches poll, which debuted this week. That match on August 17 comes against North Carolina, which is ranked No. 2 in the poll.

🔺 Pro Debut. Congratulations to Penn State baseball alum Jay Harry, who made his professional debut last night in Dunedin, Florida!

Harry was a sixth round pick of the Minnesota Twins in this summer’s MLB Draft, and was assigned to the Single-A Fort Myers Mighty Mussels.

The infielder hit .299 and started all 50 games for the Nittany Lions this spring.

🔺 Moving On. Penn State men’s gymnasts Josh Karnes (United States) and Ian Raubal (Switzerland) both performed exceptionally during team finals and individual qualifications at the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu, China, and are moving on to the all-around finals!

🔺 Welcome Home. Amanda Dinunzio is a Nittany Lion through and through.

She’s a State College native and former standout on the Penn State field hockey team. And now, she’s been named an assistant coach on head coach Lisa Bervinchak Love’s staff!
