🔺 Never A Doubt. Two goals in the first half and two more in the second were more than enough for Penn State men’s soccer to run away with a 4-0 win over Le Moyne on Sunday.

The four Nittany Lion goals were from four different Nittany Lions — Peter Mangione, Caden Grabfelder, Atem Kato and Van Danielson.

Penn State is now 1-0-1 on the young season!

🔺 Another Match-Winner. One goal was all Penn State women’s soccer needed in a 1-0 win over TCU on Sunday afternoon.

Once again, it was Kaitlyn MacBean with the winner, a header in the 77th minute that proved to be the difference.

With the win, the Nittany Lions move to 3-0-1 on the year.

🔺 Split Start. No. 5 Penn State field hockey outscored American 3-1 in the second half and overtime, ultimately earning its first win of the year, 3-2.

Mackenzie Allessie scored the game’s final two goals, including the overtime winner.

On Friday, Penn State took a 1-0 lead into halftime at No. 6 Virginia in its season opener, but two goals for the Hoos in the second half gave Virginia a 2-1 win.

Freshman Natalie Freeman scored the lone goal for the Nittany Lions, the first of her career.

🔺 Put To The Test. No. 8 Penn State women’s volleyball dropped a pair of ranked matches over the weekend in Tampa, Fla.

In their season opener, the Nittany Lions dropped a 3-1 match to No. 11 Florida. Allie Holland led the team with 10 blocks, while Jess Mruzik recorded a double-double.

No. 20 Georgia Tech gave Penn State another tough 3-1 loss on Saturday. Mruzik collected 16 kills, and Gillian Grimes grabbed 13 digs. Taylor Trammell was named to the All-Tournament Team thanks to hitting .406 with 14 kills.
