🔺 Opening Draw. Penn State women’s soccer played No. 2 North Carolina to a 0-0 draw in its opening match of the year Thursday evening.

North Carolina outshot Penn State 19-5 in the contest, but the Nittany Lions led in shots on goal 3-2.

Penn State is back in action this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Jeffrey Field against West Chester.

🔺 Hill On The Course. Penn State women’s golf head coach Kristen Simpson has announced the hiring of Nannette Hill as an assistant coach.

Hill graduated from Wake Forest in 2009, and has played professionally for the past 13 years, including time on the LPGA Tour.
