🔺 IT’S GAME DAY! It has been 81 days since the last official Penn State sporting event, but Nittany Nation — WE’RE BACK!
Penn State women’s soccer opens up the 2024 season today at 7 p.m. at Jeffrey Field against Texas Tech on the Big Ten Network. And to make it even better, it’s a top-10 matchup to begin the season — the Nittany Lions came in at No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, while the Red Raiders sit at No. 8.
🔺 Generous Gift. Penn State Athletics has received a $25 million Beaver Stadium Founders Gift from the Misitano family and PAM Health, the official rehab partner of Penn State Athletics, for the Beaver Stadium Revitalization project!
The gift, which is the second-largest in Penn State Athletics history, is a keystone gift for transformative renovations that will elevate the fan experience, drive economic growth in the region and increase revenue in support of all 31 teams.

🔺 Moving On. Penn State men’s golf’s Patrick Sheehan is through to the Round of 32 at the U.S. Amateur Championship thanks to a 2&1 win over Palmer Jackson on Wednesday!
Sheehan will take on Peter Fountain on Thursday for a spot in the Round of 16.
🔺 Impact Ready. Only 16 more days until Penn State football is back on the field!
Penn State tight end Khalil Dinkins appeared in 12 games for the Nittany Lions wearing No. 16 last season, with two of his five catches going for touchdowns!

🔺 Balancing Beams and Grades. Penn State women’s gymnastics has earned a school-record 17 Scholastic All-America honors from the WCGA for the 2023-24 academic year, and the Nittany Lions’ 3.7707 team GPA ranked 10th in the country!
