🔺 ‘Tis The Season. No 2/3 Penn State opens the 2025 football season against Nevada at Beaver Stadium tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. on CBS. The Nittany Lions boast a strong roster featuring senior quarterback Drew Allar and a dynamic running back duo in Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen. The team also welcomes new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles and running backs coach Stan Drayton.

KJ Hamler, who wore No. 1 for the Nittany Lions from 2018-19, is No. 20 in Penn State history with 1,658 receiving yards and 16th in receiving touchdowns with 13!

🔺 Shutout Central. Ninth-ranked women’s soccer shut out Santa Clara 2-0 last night! Aubrey Kulpa was responsible for both goals, recording a brace. The Penn State defense didn’t allow a single shot on goal from Santa Clara. The Nittany Lions will host James Madison on Sunday at 6 p.m. on B1G+.

🔺 At The Bell. Penn State men’s soccer tied 1-1 with Syracuse on the road. Freddie Bell scored his first collegiate goal for Penn State, while goalkeeper Jonathan Evans made a crucial save in the final 30 seconds to secure the draw.

🔺 Show Your Stuff. The women’s volleyball team is headed to Pittsburgh for the State Farm Showcase at PPG Paints Arena this weekend! They’ll play No. 13 Arizona State on Sunday at 5 p.m. Then, they’ll play No. 25 TCU on Monday at 5 p.m. Both matches will be televised on FOX.

🔺 Open The Gates. Penn State field hockey starts the season tonight at 5 p.m. when they play at No. 3 Virginia. Ella Jennes, Anouk Knuvers, and Sophia Mannino were named Big Ten Players to Watch entering the season.

🔺 Coaches vs. Cancer. Coaches vs. Cancer of Penn State will host its 16th-annual Reverse Car Drawing at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. with your choice of either a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport or a 2025 Ford Maverick as the price. All proceeds will benefit cancer patients and their families.
