🔺 Countdown Continues. There are 89 days left until Penn State football’s season opener at West Virginia! What do you say we take a look back at the 1989 Nittany Lions?

Penn State finished 15th in the final AP Poll that season, going 8-3-1 and capping the season with a 50-39 win over BYU in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.

Blair Thomas was the offensive engine in ‘89, rushing 264 times for 1,341 yards and five touchdowns, while Tony Sacca and Tom Bill both passed for over 600 yards.

🔺 Putting For A Purpose. Penn State men’s basketball’s 27th annual Coaches vs. Cancer Golf Tournament was a success!

🔺 Couple Cats. First it was Grant Ament, then it was Mac O’Keefe — Penn Staters can’t stop scoring goals in the PLL!
