🔺 Heating Up. Penn State baseball alum Matt Wood is getting hot!
A fourth round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2022 MLB Draft, Wood is hitting .417 over the past week for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers with 10 hits in 24 at-bats, and four walks compared to just three strikeouts!
Wood hit .340 over three seasons at Penn State and drove in 79 runs in 107 career games.
A forced fumble by Kalen King and recovery by Joey Porter Jr. paved the way for this 67-yard TD hookup from Clifford to Brenton Strange to close out the first half

The Nittany Lions’ 2022 game against Purdue was a wild one — remember when Brenton Strange went 67 yards on a broken play right before halftime to give Penn State a 21-10 lead?
The Blue & White went on to win 35-31!

🔺 De-Fense! De-Fense! Penn State women’s lacrosse head coach Missy Doherty has announced the hiring of Sarah Willard as the program’s new defensive coordinator!
Willard has served as the associate head coach at Elon for the last three seasons, and played collegiately at Towson from 2016-19.
