🔺 National Champ! Cheickna Traore is a national champion in the 200-meter dash!

The Nittany Lion senior capped off one of the greatest season in Penn State history on Friday evening, running a 19.95 to top the loaded field at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Traore becomes the first Nittany Lion to win an outdoor individual championship since Isaiah Harris won the 800-meter run in 2018.

🔺 Best For Last. Hayley Kitching is a First Team All-American in the 800m!

Kitching finished off her record-setting sophomore season with a 2:01.05 in the event, her fastest 800-meter time in NCAA competition, to finish fifth in a stacked field.

Combined with her fourth place finish in the event at NCAA Indoors, Kitching becomes the first Nittany Lion woman ever to earn First Team All-American in both the indoor and outdoor 800m in the same season.

🔺 Locked In. Penn State field hockey’s 2024 schedule is set!

The Nittany Lions will open the 2024 season at home against Virginia during the last weekend of August and will play seven other home games throughout the season.
