🔺 The Pick Is In! Penn State men’s basketball’s Yanic Konan Niederhauser was selected with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on Wednesday night by the Los Angeles Clippers, becoming the first Nittany Lion in program history to be selected in the first round!

🔺 First Of Their Kind. Recent Penn State women’s hockey graduates Brianna Brooks and Lyndie Lobdell became the first two Nittany Lions ever to be drafted to the Professional Women’s Hockey League this week!

Miles Dieffenbach started 27 games wearing No. 65 along the Penn State offensive line from 2010-14, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

🔺 Winner-Take-All. Penn State will once again be represented in this summer's The Basketball Tournament (TBT), the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on FOX networks.

Organized by Nittany Lion alum John Harrar, the Happy Valley Hoopers are a third-year alumni team that will take their shot at the $1 million prize. The current roster includes Penn State alum Andrew Funk (2022-23), Dallion Johnson (2020-23), Greg Lee (2021-22), John Harrar (2017-22), Izaiah Brockington (2019-21), Myreon Jones (2018-21), Jamari Wheeler (2017-21), Trent Buttrick (2017-21), Curtis Jones (2019-20) and Mike Watkins (2016-20), with additional player announcements to come in the upcoming weeks.
