Kitching ran the second-fastest women’s collegiate time ever in the 800 meters at the NCAA Championships, finishing in second place with a time of 1:57.65.

🔺 Men of Steele! Penn State football has landed five players on Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Big Ten list — Ben Brahmer (First Team), Blaise Sokach-Minnick (Second Team), Jeremiah Cooper (Third Team), Anthony Donkoh (Third Team) and Tony Rojas (Fourth Team)!

🔺 Top 100! Penn State softball freshman third baseman Allison Oneacre has been named the No. 92 overall player in college softball by Softball America!

Oneacre is responsible for the greatest offensive season by a Nittany Lion freshman in program history, collecting a wide array of honors over the course of her first year in the Blue & White.

🔺 Coaching The Cats! Penn State women’s lacrosse head coach Kayla Treanor has announced the hiring of Mallory Hasselbeck as an assistant coach for the Nittany Lions!

Hasselbeck heads to Happy Valley after a five-year playing career with stints at Boston College and, most recently, Stanford. During her time with the Eagles, Hasselbeck saw time in 46 games with a pair of All-Academic ACC Team selections. She was a member of the 2024 National Championship squad, won two ACC titles with the Eagles and secured a record of 77-14 at Chestnut Hill.
