📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Second-Fastest EVER! Penn State track and field’s Hayley Kitching ran the second-fastest time ever in the NCAA Women’s 800m finals on Day 4 of the NCAA Championships, finishing second overall in the race in 1:57.65!

Kitching’s 1:57.65 mark dips under Athing Mu’s previous NCAA all-time record of 1:57.73 set in 2021. Kitching finished second to Arkansas’s Sanu Jallow, who set a new collegiate record of 1:56.85 to win the national title.

Day 3 was also successful for the Nittany Lions in Eugene, with both Allon Clay and Niko Schultz earning First Team All-America honors in the men’s 800m with fourth- and sixth-place finishes, respectively.

👟 RECAPS: Day 3 | Day 4

🔺 Top Team! Penn State baseball’s Michael Anderson added to his trophy case over the weekend, earning First Team All-America honors from the ABCA/Rawlings.

Anderson, who now has two All-America honors this season, is Penn State’s fifth First Team All-American in program history and first since Michael Campo in 2000.
