🔺 Remembering A Legend. Former Penn State Football standout and 1975 team captain Tom Rafferty passed away at the age of 70. He was a first-team All-American at Penn State in 1975, then played his entire NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, winning Super Bowl XII.

🔺 Welcome To Happy Valley. Women’s lacrosse head coach Kayla Treanor announced the addition of Abby Rehfuss as associate head coach. She comes to Penn State after a yearlong stint at Colgate where she was the offensive coordinator. She has also spent time at Syracuse and Siena.

Freshman wide receiver Lyrick Samuel will don the No. 81 for the Nittany Lions this fall. Samuel is a four-star prospect from Brooklyn, N.Y., who chose the Nittany Lions over Michigan State, Rutgers and Syracuse.
