🔺 Pulled Away. A close game at halftime turned into a blowout win for No. 15 Penn State women’s lacrosse in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament, beating No. 25 Rutgers 17-8 to advance to Saturday’s championship game against No. 1 Northwestern.

Kayla Abernathy, Lauren Saltz and Gretchen Gilmore all registered hat tricks for the Lady Lions in the win.

🔺 Dominant Day. No. 3 seed Penn State men’s lacrosse led 4-1 after one quarter against No. 2 seed Maryland on Thursday and never looked back from there, winning 19-9 to advance to the championship game of the Big Ten Tournament on Saturday against Michigan.

Matt Traynor scored five goals and dished out an assist to lead the Nittany Lions, while TJ Malone and Mac Costin both registered hat tricks.
