🔺 Final Fight. No. 5 seed Penn State men’s lacrosse fell in the NCAA Semifinal to No. 1 seed Cornell over the weekend, 11-9, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Liam Matthews paced the offense with four goals including two in behind the back fashion. He also added one ground ball, and one caused turnover. Matt Traynor was the only other multi-goal scorer with two on the afternoon, continuing his streak to 10 games scoring at least one goal. Kyle Lehman, Ethan Long and Will Peden each produced one goal apiece to total nine as a squad.

🔺 Omaha Finale. Penn State baseball’s run at the Big Ten Tournament ended in the semifinals on Saturday, losing 6-3 to Nebraska at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb.

The Nittany Lions, who end their season with 33 wins, reached back-to-back Big Ten Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2000-01.
