🔺 Onto The Final Four! Penn State men’s lacrosse put together one of the biggest comebacks in NCAA Tournament history on Sunday, storming back from five-goal deficit against two-time defending national champion Notre Dame to beat the Irish and punch its ticket to the NCAA Final Four, 14-12!

Matt Traynor had another standout performance with a game high six goals and one assist to total seven points. Ethan Long and Kyle Lehman both produced hat tricks, Long also adding an assist while notching his 100th career point. Liam Matthews and Hunter Aquino each had one goal to complete the PSU scoring column.

Sun Time is Fun time in Jersey: it's one summer wow after another after another.

🔺 On The Way To Omaha. Penn State baseball finished off a series win over Xavier over the weekend, winning 7-6 against the Musketeers on Friday. Matt Maloney launched a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to win the game for the Nittany Lions.

Next up for Penn State is the Big Ten Tournament, with a first round matchup against Washington set for Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Omaha, Neb.

🔺 Race To The Finish. Penn State track and field finished up competition at the Big Ten Championships in Eugene, Ore. on Sunday, with the highlight of the final day being Allon Clay’s win in the men’s 800m with a time of 1:47.93!

The men’s team closed out the Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a total of 31 points and the women completed the meet with 30 points.  

🦁 ONE BIG THING

🔺 Strong Showing. Five members of the Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team/Penn State Olympic Regional Training Center competed at the 2025 U.S. Team Trials in Louisville, Ky., on Friday and Saturday, with four of the five advancing to the finals and three of those wrestlers winning their respective weight classes to advance to Final X in June!
