🔺 To The ‘Ship! No. 2 seed Penn State men’s lacrosse is headed to the Big Ten Tournament title game after its 8-6 win over No. 3 seed Maryland on Thursday!
Sophomore phenom Hunter Aquino paced the Nittany Lions offensively with three goals in addition to one caused turnover. Five other Nittany Lions tallied a goal in the defensive battle. Andrew Beard, Will Costin, Liam Matthews, Michael Faraone and Jon King all found the back of the net in the win.
Penn State is set to face top-seeded Johns Hopkins in the Big Ten Tournament Championship on Saturday, May 2. First faceoff is slated for noon with coverage on the Big Ten Network.
🔺 Home Field Advantage! Penn State softball closes the regular season at home this weekend, with each of its three games against No. 3 Nebraska (40-6, 20-1 B1G) set to be played on the Big Ten Network!
🔺 Win Or Go Home! Penn State men’s volleyball competes in the NCAA Tournament today, taking on UC Irvine (18-8) at 9 p.m. ET from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
The winner of tonight’s matchup will advance to the NCAA Regional Final against host UCLA (29-1) tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET.
🔺 Gopher Games! Penn State baseball opens up a six-game homestand this weekend, welcoming Minnesota to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for a three-game Big Ten series.
The Gophers are 27-17 overall and 8-13 in Big Ten play this season.
