🔺 Won By One. No. 22 Penn State women’s lacrosse led 5-1 after the first quarter against Vanderbilt on Wednesday and held on from there, winning 12-11 to earn its seventh win of the season.

Gretchen Gilmore led the way offensively with three goals and an assist, while Kelly MacKinney matched her with three assists and one goal.

🔺 Onto The Next One. Penn State women’s tennis hosted No. 12 Ohio State on Wednesday and was swept by the Buckeyes, 7-0.

The loss drops the Lady Lions to 4-3 in Big Ten play, with a trip to Nebraska on April 12 next up on the schedule.

🔺 Flipping Out. Penn State women’s gymnastics is in Ann Arbor today to compete in the NCAA Regionals, with chance to qualify for the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas from April 18-20.

🔺 Nice On The Ice. For the second time in her Penn State career, Tessa Janecke has earned an USCHO postseason honor — the sophomore forward has been named a Second Team All-USCHO skater!

🔺 I’ll Race Ya. After they both set Penn State program records over the weekend, Cheickna Traore and Hayley Kitching have won Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, respectively!
