🔺 Top Cat. The best team in the EIVA also has the best player in the EIVA — Penn State men’s volleyball’s John Kerr has been named the EIVA Player of the Year!

EIVA Tournament play gets underway today in University Park, with matchups set between Charleston and Princeton, as well as Harvard and NJIT.

🔺 Weekly Winners. Penn State men’s lacrosse was well-represented in Tuesday’s Big Ten weekly awards — TJ Malone was named Player of the Week, while Kyle Lehman is the Freshman of the Week!

🔺 In A Flash. Penn State baseball ran into a hot Kent State team on Tuesday, losing 10-3 to the Golden Flash in front of another record-setting crowd at Medlar Field.

There were 5,025 fans in attendance, the first time in program history the Nittany Lions have crossed the 5,000-fan mark at a home game.

🔺 Down Two. Penn State softball had the tough task of going on the road Tuesday for a conference doubleheader at Ohio State, and dropped both games to the Buckeyes.

The Lady Lions fell in Game 1 by a 16-8 final, and in Game 2 by a narrow 2-1 score.

🔺 Postseason Push. There will be a Penn State flavor to the NBA postseason this year, with three former Nittany Lions suiting up and another in the front office — Andrew Funk (Chicago Bulls), Seth Lundy (Atlanta Hawks), Jalen Pickett (Denver Nuggets) and Calvin Booth (General Manager — Denver).
