🔺 Stayin’ Alive. No. 15 Penn State men’s volleyball defeated Sacred Heart twice over the weekend to improve to 10-0 in EIVA play and leads the league by two matches! The Nittany Lions have now won seven straight matches.

🔺 All-American Alert. Freshman Gavin McKenna was named a CCM/AHCA Second-Team All-American, becoming the fourth Nittany Lion to earn this honor. McKenna, who led the Big Ten in scoring and set multiple Penn State records, is a potential top pick in the upcoming NHL Draft.

🔺 Big Road Shutout. Penn State women’s tennis defeated Purdue 4-0 for their first Big Ten sweep and road win of the season. The Nittany Lions secured the doubles point with victories on courts one and two, and singles wins from Patricia Grigoras, Brianna Baldi, and Maria Daciana Ciubotaru clinched the match.

🔺 Successful Showing. Penn State athletes excelled at the Bison Outdoor Classic, with multiple Nittany Lions jumped in the Top 10 records. Nick Sloff and Ryan Watson both set new times in the men’s 1500-meter run, while Hannah Riolo tied for the seventh-best high jump in program history. On Sunday, Alex Pancoast won the women’s hammer throw, while Gabi Deglau took third. Alexandria North won the women’s 400-meter dash, while Peyton Sommers won the men’s 200-meter.
