🔺 Title Time. For the second year in a row, Penn State women’s hockey is the CHA Tournament champion!

The Lady Lions clinched the title with a 1-0 win over Mercyhurst on Saturday, the lone goal scored by Mya Vaslet in the first period.

The Penn State men’s hockey team finished up its regular season by picking up a pair of road wins at Ohio State, serving as some momentum heading into its first round matchup against Minnesota in the Big Ten Tournament.

🔺 Saved The Best For Last. There was very little drama involved in Penn State women’s basketball’s Senior Day game against Minnesota, with the Lady Lions winning 90-34 to earn their 18th win of the season.

Leilani Kapinus led the way with 23 points, while Ashley Owusu (15), Shay Ciezki (15) and Chanaya Pinto (10) all joined her in double figures.

🔺 End Of The Road Games. In its final regular season road game of the season, Penn State men’s basketball fell 75-70 at Minnesota on Saturday.

Puff Johnson had a career day for the Nittany Lions, scoring 19 points. Ace Baldwin Jr. added 17 points, eight assists and six rebounds.

🔺 Fun On Sunday. After falling in Game 1 of its series at Davidson, Penn State baseball bounced back in a big way Sunday, sweeping a doubleheader to come home with a series win over the Wildcats.

🔺 It Continues. Penn State softball just kept on rolling this past weekend, winning its first four games of the Longhorn Invitational to move to 15-1 on the season.

The Lady Lions wrap up play at the tournament today with a matchup against host No. 2 Texas.

🔺 Never Quit. No. 12 Penn State men’s lacrosse trailed No. 9/10 Yale 9-2 at halftime on Saturday, but came roaring all the way back to pick up a 15-14 win in overtime!

TJ Malone had a monster game for the Nittany Lions, registering nine points on five goals and four assists, while Ethan Long, Mac Costin and Jake Morin all collected at least three points.

The Lady Lions fell against a top-10 Loyola team, 14-10 on Saturday. Kristin O’Neill led Penn State with six points on four goals and two assists.

🔺 Tennis vs. The Tigers. Penn State men’s tennis traveled to New Jersey on Saturday to take on No. 21 Princeton and put up a fight, but ultimately fell 4-0 to the Tigers.

The Lady Lions also competed against Princeton over the weekend, managing a pair of points but falling 4-2 to the Tigers. Sofiya Chekhlystova and Olivia Dorner earned singles wins for Penn State.

🔺 Out West. No. 9 Penn State men’s volleyball had the task of traveling cross-country over the weekend to take on No. 2 Long Beach State, falling 3-1 on Friday night.

🔺 Outstanding At Home. Penn State women’s gymnastics finished its home schedule in style over the weekend, winning the Penn State Quad against Towson, No. 25 Ball State and West Virginia with a 196.825 team total.

The No. 6 Nittany Lion men also had a fantastic weekend, keeping its perfect home record intact with a 403.100 - 381.650 win over No. 12 Springfield.

Penn State claimed individual titles in five of the six events and in the all-around.
