📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Movin’ On. Penn State women’s basketball’s season will continue on, as the Lady Lions took down Mississippi State, 92-87, on Thursday to advance to the WBIT Semifinals.

Ashley Owusu led the way with 24 points, and Makenna Marisa was right behind her with 22 of her own.

The Lady Lions will now make their first appearance in the semifinal round of a postseason tournament since 2000, when the team made a Final Four run in the NCAA Tournament.

🔺 Time For The Terps. Penn State softball gets Its second Big Ten series of the season started today, hosting Maryland for a three-game series in Happy Valley.

The Lady Lions are in the midst of a nine-game win streak, including a Big Ten-opening sweep of Indiana last weekend.

🔺 Turtle Shells. No. 4 Penn State men’s lacrosse plays its third top-15 matchup of the season on Sunday, with No. 12 Maryland traveling to Panzer Stadium for a 7 p.m. showdown.

The Nittany Lions are riding the momentum of a seven-game win streak, having not lost since a 13-12 defeat to Colgate in their season opener.

🔺 Away Dugout. Penn State baseball plays on the road this weekend for the first time in conference play, heading west to Illinois to take on the Illini in a three-game series starting today at 7 p.m.

The Nittany Lions dropped two-of-three to Michigan last weekend in their Big Ten opener, but bounced back with a big 10-1 win over Pitt in their midweek game on Tuesday.

🔺 Couldn’t Hold On. No. 19 Penn State women’s lacrosse held a 6-1 lead at halftime against Ohio State on Thursday, but an extended run from the Buckeyes in the second half gave them a 9-8 win.

Lauren Saltz, Emma Kelly, Gretchen Gilmore and Meghan Murray all scored twice for the Lady Lions.

🔺 Two Top Teams. After taking a six-match hiatus, No. 10 Penn State men’s volleyball is back in EIVA play this weekend with two home matches against Harvard.

The Nittany Lions stand alone at the top of the EIVA standings at 4-0, with the Crimson right behind in second place at 3-1.

🔺 Double Duals. Both Penn State women’s and men’s tennis play a pair of Big Ten matches this weekend — the women host Rutgers today and Maryland Sunday, while the men travel to Indiana today and Purdue on Sunday.
