📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Still Streaking. Penn State softball took down Bucknell 10-2 on Tuesday, extending its win streak to nine games and pushing its overall record to 24-6.

Bridget Nemeth moved to 14-0 with the win, striking out a pair in 1.2 scoreless innings. Gaby Garcia proved much of the offense for the Lady Lions, with two hits, two runs and five RBI.

🔺 Making Noise. The honors continue to roll in for Penn State softball’s Bridget Nemeth — D1Softball has named her the National Freshman of the Week, and the Big Ten named her its Freshman of the Week!

🔺 Not Close. Penn State baseball blew its Tuesday contest against Pitt wide open in the sixth inning, scoring seven runs to take a 8-1 lead, and eventually won 10-1 over the Panthers.

J.T. Marr, Bryce Molinaro, Grant Norris and Kyle Hannon all drove in two runs for the Nittany Lions.

🔺 One More Swim. Penn State men’s swimming and diving gets one last competition this week, competing at the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis today through Saturday.

Mariano Lazzerini, Victor Baganha and Cooper Morley will all compete individually, while the 200 and 400 medley relay teams will also be in action.

🔺 Top Spot. Kristin O’Neill scored six goals against No. 1 Northwestern over the weekend, the last of which won the game in overtime for the Lady Lions.

There was little drama involved here — O’Neill has been named the IL/IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week!

🔺 Another Award. Penn State men’s gymnastics grabbed two conference awards during the last week of the regular season — Luke Esparo earned his second consecutive Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor, and Josh Karnes is the Gymnast of the Week for the fourth time this season!
