🔺 Up At The Top. Top-ranked Penn State wrestling lived up to its ranking during Day 1 of the NCAA Championships, leading the field after one day of competition.
The Nittany Lions are sending eight wrestlers to the quarterfinals, and finished the second session on Thursday night a perfect 10-0.
🔺 Marching On. The drama was present in Penn State women’s basketball’s WBIT First Round game against George Mason on Thursday, with the Lady Lions winning 84-80 in overtime.
Leilani Kapinus registered her fourth double-double of the season, scoring 13 points and pulling down a career-high 15 rebounds.
🔺 B1G Season. You blink, and the non-conference season is over — Penn State baseball hosts Michigan this weekend in its Big Ten opener, beginning today at 5:30 p.m. at Medlar Field.
🔺 Non-Con Gone. Penn State softball also opens up Big Ten play this weekend, hosting Indiana for a three-game series at Nittany Lion Softball Park, beginning today at 5 p.m.
🔺 Extend The Streak. Sensing a theme? No. 7/5 Penn State men’s lacrosse travels to Ohio State this weekend for its Big Ten opener, taking on the Buckeyes at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
🔺 Hosting No. 1. Penn State women’s lacrosse does have one conference game under its belt, a win at No. 22 Rutgers two weeks ago, but the Lady Lions do play their Big Ten home opener today against No. 1 Northwestern at 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
🔺 B1G Time Tennis. You guessed it, Penn State men’s tennis begins Big Ten action this weekend as Illinois travels to Happy Valley for a dual today at 5 p.m.
The Lady Lions are out on the road, traveling to the state of Indiana for a matchup against Purdue tomorrow at noon and Indiana on Sunday at 11 a.m.
🔺 Last One At Home. It’s Senior Day for Penn State men’s gymnastics tomorrow at 4 p.m. against Illinois, as the Nittany Lions get one last competition in before heading to the Big Ten Championships from April 5-6 in Champaign, Ill.

🔺 Championship Time. The postseason is here for Penn State women’s gymnastics, as the Lady Lions travel to East Lansing, Mich. tomorrow to compete at the Big Ten Championships at noon.
