🔺 Back Home. Penn State women’s basketball isn’t quite done playing in the Bryce Jordan Center after all, as the Lady Lions earned a No. 1 seed in the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament on Sunday evening!

🔺 Hot At Home. Penn State softball began its home slate over the weekend and promptly started a new five-game win streak, beating Lehigh (x2), Cornell, Canisius and Binghamton at the Penn State Softball Invitational, scoring 51 runs over the five-game weekend.

🔺 On A Roll. No. 8/9 Penn State men’s lacrosse made it six wins in a row over the weekend, taking down Marquette, 13-7, in Springfield, Pa.

Will Peden scored four goals and assisted on another in the win, while TJ Malone registered six points on two goals and four assists.

🔺 By A Hair. Penn State women’s lacrosse picked up a big road win over the weekend, beating Cornell, 12-11, in Ithaca, N.Y.

Kristin O’Neill and Payton Wainman both played crucial roles in the win, scoring four goals each to lead the offensive charge for the Lady Lions.

🔺 Series Secured. The Penn State baseball offense left nothing to chance during Saturday’s series rubber match against UMass Lowell, scoring 21 runs to clinch the first three-game set of the season at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.

🔺 Home And Home. No. 10 Penn State men’s volleyball beat Saint Francis, 3-2, in a reverse sweep on Saturday night in Loretto, Pa., and for good measure, turned around and beat the Red Flash 3-2 again at home on Sunday.

🔺 Opened In Style. Penn State women’s tennis dominated its Big Ten opener against Michigan State over the weekend, taking down the No. 71 Spartans 4-1 to earn its second win of the season.

🔺 Gained Momentum. In its final regular season competition of the season, No. 22 Penn State women’s gymnastics scored a 196.875 to sweep the field at the George Washington Quad Meet on Sunday afternoon.

No. 6 Penn State men’s gymnastics spent Sunday evening competing against No. 5 Michigan on the Big Ten Network, falling to the Wolverines 425.500-413.600 at Cliff Keen Arena.
