🔺 Late Rally. Down 7-3 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, Penn State softball came roaring back against Lehigh on Thursday night and scored 11 runs in the frame and held on to win a wild one, 14-12.

Emily Maddock was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, while Maddie Gordon and Brooke Klosowicz both drove in three.

🔺 1-0 At Home. Penn State baseball got six innings of one-run ball from Travis Luensmann on Thursday against UMass Lowell, and the Nittany Lions opened up their home slate with a 3-2 win.

Matt Maloney delivered a two-run double in the third inning, and Billy Gerlott went deep in the sixth to score the third run of the game for Penn State.

🔺 Beat At The Buzzer. No. 11 seed Penn State men’s basketball gave No. 6 seed Indiana all it could handle on Thursday in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament, but a Hoosier layup with five seconds left was the difference in a 61-59 loss for the Nittany Lions.

Puff Johnson led Penn State with 16 points and eight rebounds, and Zach Hicks joined him in double figures with 11 points.

🔺 Nothing In The Net. No. 14/13 Penn State women’s hockey and No. 7 St. Lawrence played three scoreless periods on Thursday night in a NCAA Regional Semifinal matchup, before the Saints found the back of the net in overtime to earn a 1-0 victory.

Despite giving up an overtime goal, Katie DeSa was phenomenal in net for the Lady Lions, collecting a career-high 43 saves.

🔺 In The Ivy. Penn State women’s lacrosse takes its show out onto the road again this weekend, playing the last leg of a five-game road swing at Cornell tomorrow at 1 p.m.

🔺 Home And Away. No. 9 Penn State men’s volleyball travels to Loretto, Pa. tomorrow at 5 p.m. to take on Saint Francis, before turning right around and hosting the Red Flash at Rec Hall on Sunday.

🔺 Conference Clash. Penn State women’s tennis begins Big Ten play this weekend, hosting Michigan State today at noon before traveling to Ann Arbor on Sunday to take on Michigan.

The Nittany Lion men are in the Empire State this weekend, taking on Cornell in Ithaca this Sunday at 2 p.m.

🔺 Prime Time. Penn State men’s gymnastics will have the bright lights on it this weekend, as its Sunday competition against Michigan in Ann Arbor will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network at 4 p.m.

The Lady Lions wrap up their regular season this weekend in Washington D.C., competing at the GW Tri Meet on Sunday against Towson and George Washington.

🔺 Extend The Streak. No. 8/9 Penn State men’s lacrosse looks to extend its win streak to six games tomorrow, as it takes on Marquette at 2 p.m. at Springfield High School in Springfield, Pa.!

Tickets for tomorrow’s game will need to be purchased online ahead of game time — no tickets will be sold at the door.
