Engaging in regular physical activity can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve mood and increase self-esteem. Exercise also promotes the release of endorphins – the body’s natural mood elevators – and other neurotransmitters that help regulate mood and decrease stress. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise per week, along with muscle-strengthening activities two or more days per week.

🔺 B1G Honors! The Big Ten announced its women’s basketball postseason awards on Tuesday!

Kiyomi McMiller led the way for the Lady Lions, earning second team All-Big Ten honors from the media and third team from coaches. Gracie Merkle earned third team All-Big Ten from the conference’s media, and Vitória Santana is Penn State’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient.
