🔺 Hot Start. No. 1 Penn State wrestling was perfect on Day One of the NCAA Championships in Philadelphia on Thursday, with all 10 wrestling going 2-0 to advance to the national quarterfinals!
Penn State’s perfect Day One marks the first time in school history that the Nittany Lions went 20-0 on day one of the NCAA Championships and the first time Penn State advanced 10 wrestlers to the quarterfinals. The Nittany Lions lead the team race with 39.5 points, ahead of Nebraska’s 28.0 and Oklahoma State’s 24.0.

🔺 B1G Time. Penn State women’s gymnastics heads to Ann Arbor, Mich. this weekend for the Big Ten Championships. The Nittany Lions will compete on Saturday at noon. Fans can watch live action on the Big Ten Network.

🔺 Top-10 Matchup. Penn State men’s lacrosse has a marquee matchup this weekend, as the No. 2 Nittany Lions host No. 9 Ohio State this Sunday at 7 p.m. for Youth Lacrosse Day.
The Buckeyes are 8-1 this season and have won eight in a row after losing their season opener against Utah back on Feb. 1.

🔺 West Coast Swing. Penn State women’s lacrosse continues its three-game road swing this weekend, traveling all the way to the West Coast for a matchup with Oregon this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.
The Ducks are 5-4 this season.

🔺 Spartan Series. Penn State baseball plays a crucial early-season Big Ten series against Michigan State this weekend, with the Spartans traveling to Happy Valley for a three-game set.
The Spartans are 14-6 so far this season and 1-2 in conference play, dropping a series at Iowa last weekend.
⚾️ PREVIEW: Baseball Battles Michigan State This Weekend

🔺 In Indiana. Penn State softball plays its first Big Ten road series this weekend, traveling to Bloomington, Ind. for three games against the Hoosiers.
Indiana is 20-7 so far this season and 7-2 at home.

🔺 Running Outside. Penn State track and field begins its outdoor season this weekend in Philadelphia, participating at the Penn Challenge tomorrow at Franklin Field.

🔺 Here And There. Penn State men’s tennis will be at home this weekend, hosting Nebraska and Wisconsin today and Sunday, respectively.
The Nittany Lion women are on the road for the second consecutive weekend, visiting Rutgers tomorrow and Maryland on Sunday.
