🔺 Defending The Title! No. 1 Penn State wrestling heads to Cleveland, Ohio today to begin competition at the NCAA Championships!

Penn State heads to Cleveland looking to win the school’s 13th NCAA Championship under head coach Cael Sanderson and 14th overall. Penn State has won the last four NCAA team titles. The Nittany Lions have qualified all 10 wrestlers for the three-day event, including seven top seeds.

🔺 Penn State To The Pros! Penn State football players participated in the team’s Pro Day on Wednesday!

🔺 Grades Well Done! Penn State Athletics saw 91 student-athletes earn Academic All-Big Ten honors from its winter programs with Kellen Ryan (men’s gymnastics) and Lucas Cochran (wrestling) each earning perfect 4.0 GPAs.

🔺 B1G Honors! Freshman Gavin McKenna was named the B1G Freshman of the Year to highlight six Nittany Lions named to Big Ten Men’s Hockey All-Conference teams as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon!

And the Big Ten award wasn’t the only recognition for McKenna on Wednesday, as the freshman was also named a Hobey Baker Award Top-10 Finalist! Fans can cast their vote for McKenna by going to the voting website hobeybaker.com/vote. Fans can find their favorite player, then text to vote by following the instructions.
