🔺 B1G Champs! Penn State men’s gymnastics has claimed its first ever Big Ten regular season title!
It came down to the wire in Rec Hall on Sunday evening, but Matt Cormier’s impromptu high bar routine helped Penn State men’s gymnastics team to a 329.050-328.850 win over No. 4 Nebraska, clinching a share of the 2025 title.

🔺 Time To Go Outside. Penn State track and field finished up its indoor season this past weekend, earning a total of eight All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Virginia Beach, Va.
Maddie Pitts (pentathlon), Yukichi Ishii (men’s 800m), Jake Palermo (men’s 400m), Ajani Dwyer (men’s 60m), Florence Caron (women’s 5,000m), Darius Smallwood (men’s 800m), Hayley Kitching (women’s 800m) and Olivier Desmeules (men’s 800m) all earned All-American nods.

🔺 B1G Series Win. Penn State baseball went on the road and picked up its second Big Ten series win of the season this past weekend, taking two-of-three games at Northwestern.
The Nittany Lions scored 26 runs in three games against the Wildcats.

🔺 OT Finish. No. 5 seed Penn State men’s hockey fell in overtime of the Big Ten Tournament semifinals at No. 3 seed Ohio State on Saturday, 4-3.
The Nittany Lions will spend the next week scoreboard watching for its chance at an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament and a trip to Allentown, Pennsylvania for the regional on March 28-30 at the PPL Center.

🔺 Postseason Is Next. No. 25 Penn State women’s gymnastics closed out its regular season over the weekend at Clemson, posting a score of 196.150.
Nittany Lion gymnasts won vault, bars, beam, and all-around titles but ended up falling to Clemson (196.450) in an energetic contest.

🔺 Out West. No. 64 Penn State men’s tennis lost a pair of tough matches out on the West Coast this past weekend — the Nittany Lions fell 5-2 at No. 58 Washington on Friday before dropping a 4-0 match at No. 54 Oregon on Sunday.

🔺 Sunday Dub. Penn State softball earned a win in its final game in Oklahoma City on Sunday, a 5-1 victory over Minnesota.
Haylie Brunson and Brooke Klosowicz both hit home runs for the Nittany Lions, while Mady Volpe, Jiselle Hernandez and Abigail Britton combined to keep the Gophers’ bats quiet from the circle.

🔺 By The Beach. Penn State men’s volleyball competed at the Outrigger Volleyball Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii over the weekend, dropping matches to No. 5 USC, No. 3 Hawaii and No. 12 Ball State.

Penn State women’s soccer placed 17 program alumnae on National Women’s Soccer League opening day rosters ahead of the league’s 13th season, highlighted by a pair of players from the 2024 Nittany Lion roster set to make their professional debuts in KC Current rookie Katie Scott, and San Diego Wave FC first-year pro Jordan Fusco!
