🔺 Nittany Lions, Assemble! Penn State men’s basketball beat Indiana 85-71 on the road over the weekend, earning its first win in Assembly Hall since 2014.

The Nittany Lions shot nearly 60% for the game, and 55% from 3-point range in the win.

🔺 More Dominance. Penn State wrestling did what it does best over the weekend — win. The Nittany Lions took down Ohio State, 28-9, to move to 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in Big Ten action.

🔺 Comeback Kids. Penn State women’s hockey is coming out of the weekend happy after sweeping CHA opponent Mercyhurst to move to 13-3 in conference action.

🔺 Season Opened. Penn State men’s lacrosse dropped its season opener to Colgate over the weekend, 13-12.

Kyle Lehman led the Nittany Lions with a hat trick and an assist, while TJ Malone tallied a career-high seven assists.

🔺 Two Possessions. Despite shooting 50% from the field and outrebounding Michigan by 10, Penn State women’s basketball fell to the Wolverines over the weekend, 80-75.

Ashley Owusu (18 points), Leilani Kapinus (15), Shay Ciezki (13) and Makenna Marisa (11) all scored in double figures.

🔺 High Scores. Both Penn State women’s and men’s gymnastics put up some high scores over the weekend, despite losing its respective matches.

🔺 Lapped ‘Em. Penn State men’s and women’s swimming and diving both put an exclamation point on the regular season with dominant wins over Villanova.

🔺 Give Them Their Flowers. Highlighted by the sixth-fastest 4×400 relay time in the nation this season from the Penn State men’s team, the Nittany Lion track & field program had a successful weekend at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge.

🔺 Split Trip. Penn State men’s volleyball had a split midweek in Indiana, sweeping Ball State on Friday before losing to Purdue Fort Wayne in five sets on Saturday.

🔺 Tens Of Tennis. Penn State men’s tennis had a busy weekend with a pair of doubleheaders, grabbing wins against Lehigh and Mount St. Mary’s and falling to Delaware and Georgetown.

The Lady Lions picked up their first win of the season this past weekend against Saint Francis, part of a four-dual slate similar to the men’s squad.
